On the 30th and 31st of August, 2023, the NBS Academy project officially kicked off! The partnership met in Thessaloniki, Greece, at the premises of Stimmuli for social change, which is the coordinator and lead dissemination partner of the project. The 2-day meeting was carried out quite smoothly and under a positive atmosphere!
During the 1st day, the topics of discussion focused on the workplan, progress and upcoming tasks of Work Package 2 (Building the NBS Academy and Network) and Work Package 3 (“Train the Trainer” programme development) and Work Package 5 (Pilot testing and validation of training programmes) always oriented towards the teachers and teacher trainers’ empowerment around the topic of NBS integration in education. A highlight in the day was the session where partners brainstormed in groups on possible evaluation pathways for NBS Academy training modules.
The 2nd day was shorter but was full of interesting topics in the agenda. Partners discussed and exchanged ideas about the promotion and upscaling process of NBS Academy (part of Work Package 6) while one of the most important parts was the dissemination and communication presentation where Stimmuli team presented to the partnership the main dissemination and communication tools that will be used to promote the project’s results and the progress so far on social media targets. It was a good opportunity for partners to discuss also on pathways for new collaborations and synergies with other EU projects related to sustainability, green and digital skills and NBS education.
Overall, the meeting surpassed our expectations and now we are very looking forward to the next activities of the project that will bring new surprises- stay tuned!
